Logic’s “Vinyl Days” is an album that prides itself on aesthetically and sonically calling back to the older, grittier, boom-bap style that dominated the hip-hop scene of the 1980’s and 1990’s. I recreated my own version of the album’s cover art and vinyls with a keen focus on retaining the vintage feel of the album, with a nod to Logic’s own record label, “BobbyBoy Records,” placed on the vinyl discs in the form of his caricature. The front and back of the sleeves depict the top and bottom of a record player respectively.
